    Our Mackerel fishing trips are a great introduction to rod and line sea fishing.

    We offer family friendly 2hr Mackerel Fishing Trips which are a great introduction to sea fishing for adults and children alike. Once we arrive at the Fishing grounds the engine is switched off and each angler will receive a rod and a full demonstration from the Skipper. You will find yourself jigging a hooked feather or silver shrimp rig. The flash of the hooks will attract the Mackerel and you’ll know when you hit a fish with the unmistakable jiggle of the rod tip. If your lucky enough to hit a shoal of Mackerel be warned the action can be fast and furious, this trip is predominantly targeting Mackerel but if your lucky you may even bump into some other species such as Pollock or Gernard. You are welcome to take your Mackerel home so bring a bag, If you are unsure on how to prepare your fish do ask the Skipper he will provide a demonstration on gutting/filleting and preparation for the table.  Mackerel are a great tasting fish either pan fried or simply whole on the BBQ with a squidge of Lemon.     Why not charter the boat for a 2hr adventure solely for your group? This time can be used as you wish, whether it’s Fishing, Sightseeing, Birthday Parties or Stag & Hen we can accommodate a specialised trip for you to make your experience truly memorable.
    Charter price based on up to 10 people, if your group is greater than 10 (max 12) additional persons can be added at extra cost.

    Leaving from the historical port of Newquay Cornwall join us on a 2hr Costal Wildlife Boat Trip down the western shore to Seal Cove. Your cruise will start in Newquay Bay where you will learn about the old smugglers of Newquay, the local fishing and maritime industry and the RNLI whilst observing an array of seabirds including cormorants, gannets and kittiwakes. You will then cruise west past Britain’s most famous surfing beach Fistral, whilst enjoying the breathtaking Cornish coast we will arrive at Seal cove where you will find the local population of grey seals which can be observed in their natural environment. Dolphins, Sunfish, Seals and Jellyfish are a common sight during the Summer months however pleased be advised that the wildlife is not caged and we cannot guarantee sightings, we carry upto 12 people on our charters.
